How to play
Every match is one against one. Win the kick-off race, beat your defender with a skill move, and finish with a power shot, a chip or a curler into the far corner. When you don't have the ball, time a slide tackle to win it back.

On a phone or tablet
Put your thumb anywhere on the left side of the pitch and drag to move, or use the on-screen D-pad. Big buttons on the right handle Shoot / Tackle, Chip, Curl and Sprint, plus your skill moves and an ULT button when your ultimate is charged.
Game modes
Career
Start at 17 in the Park League and climb five divisions to the World League. The top two go up and the bottom two go down. Each division brings a new rival, a new ground, sponsor deals, news headlines and end-of-season awards like the Golden Boot, Player of the Season and Skill King. Finish near the top and you could win the Golden Ball. Get called up by your country for the U-18, U-20 and senior World Street Cups. Develop as a youngster, fade as a veteran and retire into the Hall of Fame at 36.
Cups and bosses
Five knockout cups run from the Street Cup to the Global Cup, with penalty shootouts if it's level at full time. Five bosses guard the difficulty levels, each with a signature move. Beat them all, then try Boss Rush: every boss back to back, picking a power-up after each win. Lose once and the run is over.
Play a friend
Send a friend a five-letter code to play online on any device, or use Quick match to find an opponent in Normal or Ranked. You can also play two-player on one keyboard with even stats, so it's pure skill.
2v2 and daily challenges
Team up with an AI teammate who makes runs and covers for you, and take on three new daily challenges every day.
Skills and ultimates
- Ten skill moves: step-over, roulette, elastico, fake shot, nutmeg, rainbow flick, Cruyff turn, drag-back, La Croqueta and heel-to-heel. Land one and you get slow motion, a camera zoom and a defender left wobbling.
- Nine ultimate moves, one per match, from Meteor Volley and Thunder Strike to Dragon Strike and Cosmic Ego, which launches you and the ball into space. Charge it up, get close, and it always ends in the net.
- Seven training drills, one for every stat: shooting, long range, cone dribbling, sprints, shuttle runs, tackling and hold-up play.
Build your baller
Pick your nation from 60 countries on a pixel world map, then choose your name, number, skin tone, one of 12 hairstyles, your kit and boots. Unlock kit patterns, headbands, golden boots and new match balls, and show off with five goal celebrations from the knee slide to the backflip.
Matches are played in five weather styles: day, starry night, rain, winter and autumn. Rain makes the ball skid and snow slows it down. A chiptune soundtrack, a crowd that gets louder near goal and spoken commentary round it out.
